Mitsuoka — the low-volume Toyama-based automaker behind the Orochi, Rock Star, and Himiko — is teasing an all-new model that appears to be a two-seat, open-top sports car, judging by its long-hood, short-deck proportions.
The company has been releasing one teaser image per month since June. The third is out now, a fourth is due in September, and Mitsuoka plans to formally unveil the car in November 2026.
The interesting part is how it will be built: Mitsuoka says craftspeople will shape the car's exterior bodywork by hand — a labor-intensive construction method that's unusual among modern Japanese production cars. Platform and powertrain remain unannounced; we'll be watching for the September teaser, and for confirmation of the donor platform, powertrain, and production plans, ahead of the November reveal.
